Jitam Foundation is a UK-registered not-for-profit organisation dedicated to the prevention and management of kidney and urinary tract diseases. Our mission is to raise awareness, support individuals and families affected by these conditions, and provide access to essential care for those who need it most.
Jitam works closely with healthcare professionals and community partners to organise blood donation camps, promote early detection, prevention, and education, helping people make informed lifestyle and health choices.

Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is when the kidneys have become damaged over time (for at least 3 months) and have a hard time doing all their important jobs. CKD also increases the risk of other health problems like heart disease and stroke. Developing CKD is usually a very slow process with very few symptoms at first.
